Steve Madden women's Troopa Combat Boot

I’ve had many pairs of troopa boots, but these are my favorite. The brown is striking. The leather has just the right amount of give. I’m excited to get a lot of wear out of these.

Steve Madden Troopa cognac sold by Orva Stores is a beautiful boot. Authentic Steve Madden Troopa. Wonderful leather smell. Size 7 fit perfectly, my usual size. I wanted to try this style boot in a lighter, warm brown color and didn’t want to spend a lot. $60 for leather boots was exactly what I wanted to spend. I’m pleased to say they are good quality and on trend.

I love these boots. I’m on my second pair of blacks one. Which I’m still wearing the first even after taking a fall on the ice in them. This is my 3rd pair. They are very comfortable, love the style and the leather is very durable. I searched for years to find the perfect combat boot. Steve Madden is my choice every time. Highly recommend this one.

These are very sturdy, attractive boots. I bought a pair 4 years ago and have just now worn them out. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that this new pair has a very strong chemical smell that permeated the whole house. You will have to air them out in the garage or outside for a week or so in order to lesson the smell. Also, if you need arch support, these boots do not have any.

I bought these in spring 2011, getting on the combat boot trend pretty late. I love Madden shoes, so I was fairly certain of my size and fit, and already had my heart set on that pretty Cognac leather. These shoes have lasted me well.They definitely rise above my ankle, so the name is a bit of a misnomer, but they're not mid-calf. They have enough room to easily accommodate skinny jeans, leggings, or thick socks. The heel is very low and comfortable to walk in, the leather is nice and soft, and they're well-constructed boots, overall. The toe is reinforced, it actually reminds me of a riding boot, though I wouldn't recommend using it as one! Still, you won't stub your toe in these boots.My only issue is with the laces. They're thick, round laces and do not enjoy staying tied. However, that's easy enough to replace.

Firstly, the amazon price for these was amazing...coupled with my super cheap next day delivery from my free student amazon prime account!!!These boots are ridiculously stylish. Seriously--they're absolutely gorgeous (my boyfriend thinks so too) and look good tucked in or out of skinny jeans. I got them in "Cognac" in 8.5 and I usually wear either an 8 or 8.5. I went with the 8.5 cause they're boots so I want to be able to wear socks inside them. Super comfortable, so I would say they are true to size.The "Cognac" color is really pretty. It's kind of a dark auburn brown, but appears mostly dark brown in indoor lighting. I can't wait to wear them out!HIGHLY recommended!!! These are my first shoes by Steve Madden and I'm super pleased.

I have owned two pairs of these throughout my life. They lasted forever and I even walked all over London in one pair. I wished I had taken actual walking shoes, but they worked.Finally, I decided I would get them in brown. I was so so disheartened when I took them out of the box. They felt like plastic. There is no way these are leather. If so, it is the absolute bottom of the barrel, an underground barrel that’s been buried for centuries, quality of leather. I was so sad to send them back. What happened to my iconic, always fashionable and comfortable Troopas?

I love Steve Madden boots. These are soft and comfortable. Can wear all day at work on my feet.
