Perfect Little Touchscreen Monitor for My Projects!
The ELECROW 10.1-inch touchscreen monitor has been exactly what I needed for my Raspberry Pi setup! The 1280x800 resolution is clear and sharp, and the IPS display gives excellent colors and viewing angles. It’s the perfect size for a desk setup, portable projects, or even as an extra screen for my PC.The touchscreen response is smooth and accurate, which makes working with Raspberry Pi or Jetson Nano projects much easier. It was also simple to set up and compatible right out of the box. The build quality feels durable, and the monitor is lightweight but sturdy.Whether I’m using it for coding, media, or interactive projects, it performs flawlessly. This monitor is fantastic for anyone looking for a small, reliable display with touchscreen capability – highly recommend!

Hit or miss quality
Reviewing the replacement unit as the first one was defective. The first unit had red lines in a cross hatch pattern in certain parts of the display. They would come and go depending on what was shown on the monitor. The replacement corrected that problem. The color representation is a little off compared to another larger monitor I have but not that big of a deal. For the price this little monitor works great for its intended purpose. The touch screen doesn't work as expected in a multiple monitor situation. The touch point activate on the main monitor always if this monitor is the secondary one.

Great little touch screen monitor undermined use of tape to hold it together
I bought Elecrow's delightful 8" touch screen and it was in a well-built metal housing. I assumed their 10.1 inch panel would be similarly build, but it isn't. It is in a plastic case, wrapped in a kind of black electrical tape. Since so many consumer devices are shipped with plastic film protecting them, including the screen of this 10.1 inch panel, I assumed that the tape wrapped around the outside edge was also protective film, but it wasn't. When I pulled on it, it revealed that it was holding the panel together, and even though I tried to carefully put it back, it is now stretched and distorted.Too bad because the picture is good, the little stands are brilliant in their simplicity, and the size is great ( I use it with Microsoft Flight Simulator). There's no on-screen menu of options, but the backlight intensity button is particularly useful. Some folks have complained that the panel doesn't shutdown when their computers are shutdown, but if you turn down the backlight, the "no signal" goes away. Then you have to turn it back up when I boot Windows 11, a minor hassle.

Works well and looks good
Using this to turn my PI into an android "tablet" to use as a smart hub. It works really and comes with everything needed to set it up with the Pi. The picture quality is pretty decent for the size, nothing crazy to write home about but good enough. Touch input works flawlessly and is a nice capacitive touch screen and not some cheap resistive touch screen. I didn't have an issue with the build quality either. Mine was well put together and I think mine is a solid plastic housing. Overall pretty good for the price, it just works and looks good.

64Hz, No Off Switch
The only way to power this screen on or off is by [un]plugging the power cable, which is a micro-USB cable located on the back of the display.Thankfully, it does also take full-size HDMI. However, it shows up in Windows as being connected via DVI-D (which means you can't use Nvidia color settings for it.The touchscreen functionality -- while running Windows 11 -- just doesnt work very well, but this seems like an issue with the fact that I have a second display plugged in which seems to make the input behave unpredictably. The only supported refresh rate (in Nvidia Control Center and Windows Display Settings) is 64Hz, no matter the resolution.
