Pond dye that's worth the money !
Worked Great All Summer!I used this pond dye in early spring, and it kept the water looking clean and beautiful all summer long. The color was rich and even, and it lasted way longer than I expected. Super easy to use—just pour it in and let it do the work. Great product and definitely worth it if you want your pond to stay nice-looking throughout the season!

works too well be careful
I have a 7’ x 15’ 1000 gallon cichlid pond in Florida, so needless to say it gets HOT outside and the pond is only about 2’ deep, so the pond water gets pretty warm. Maybe i’m wrong, but I don’t recall it ever getting this hot in there any other summer.. the water temperature has been in the mid 90s for about 2 months and I feel so bad for my fish!!! They have a bridge going across, water lilies (at least the ones that haven’t been fried to death), the house, and a waterfall for shade, but it’s not enough.I looked up “pond shade” and this came up. I shopped around for a while before deciding on this one. I knew it was super concentrated and I knew not to add too much.. but I didn’t read or calculate anything. I added the tiniest bit… I didn’t measure but it was maybe 2 tablespoons and it was way way wayyy too much. I had to drain half the water just to get it a more normal blue. I’m sure it’s normal but now all my fish appear blue lol but that’s probably from the different colors hitting the light and the new reflection refraction whatever.. but i’m fairly confident they aren’t actually blue. My family thinks they are blue lol but im relatively certain they’re not. I’m not netting one to find out bc every time I do that, they don’t trust me 😭 and it takes forever to win it back! One of my older severums has seen better days and has been spending most of her time in one place on the bottom, so i’ll find out if they are tinted or not when I take her out.I’ll have to get used to it, and I can see how it blocks out the (some) sun which was my only reason for getting this… that and the algae. Keeping up with the algae could be a daily ordeal if I felt like doing it everyday. I have a few young electric blue acara that live in the “shallow end” where I put ornaments and other hiding spots, so they have a fighting chance in a pond with full grown aggressive/semi aggressive cichlids (they’re actually a pretty peaceful group), and the ornaments get caked with algae every single day. I use this API barley powder mix and pond algaecide but it still needs weekly maintenance at the very least.. at least cleaning the filter pads and around the ornaments. It lets up around November when it starts to cool off. We have heaters for the winter so it never gets below 75, but I wish I could keep it below 85 in the summer. Hopefully this helps.ps. in the pic my water liles are fried from the sun and probably also the algaecide sorry they look like 💩😭

Make your brown pond blue!
In Louisiana, the bayou state. My pond was always brown and never clear. Even when it rains it stays brown. I found this product and gave it a shot. Best thing ever! I had to purchase two bottles for my pond in the pictures. After a year of the Louisiana heat and rains it still has better color than that brown color it was. It’s stocked with fish and turtles and didn’t harm them or the white geese and ducks that visit it daily. I thought for sure I’d have blue geese after the came to visit me but it didn’t seem to dye the wildfire. In fact this product made my pond look cleaner and clearer after just a week. Totally worth it.I have no clue of the volume of my pond. You can see the pics I’ve attached to judge the size of it and the original color. The pond is about 10 feet deep all around the pond.

4x is more like 2x
Description says as strong as a full gallon of other dye. I treated my one acre pond with 2 full containers as I usually use 2 full gallon jugs of dye and expected similar if not a little deeper blue tint. The tint is about half of what I get from the 2 gallon jugs I usually use.
