This is a perfect cover for my golden’s leg wound. She has a bad habit of licking her leg and had opened up a wound that wasn’t healing. I put this on her during the day and then take it off for nighttime sleep until the wound heals.

We have an American bulldog. She has some beefy legs. This says size xl. The largest strap fit the smallest part of her leg. Back to the cone of shame it is. *NOTE* I did not read the measurements of this one which is my mistake.

Be careful when using this, the inside is abrasive and can cut your dog's legs if used too long or your dog runs with it on. There was no indication the inside was abrasive and it cut my dog's leg when he ran around with it on. Use another wrapping inside like gauze to limit contact directly with your dog's skin. It worked for the intended purpose of preventing my dog from licking a hot spot but created further problems so I had to stop using it.

This appears to help my senior dog, who has lost a lot of muscle mass in the past year. He has trouble with stability in his hind legs, and this product helps keep his leg in the proper position and support his weight. It provides some support without being too stiff or inflexible.My dog does not fuss over it when I put it on, so I guess it is comfortable for him. I usually leave it on all day and take it off at night.I am not sure exactly how to put it on, and whether the one I got is for the front leg, hind leg, or both. Better instructions (pictures!!) would really help. However, it does seem to be working.

I’m using this to cover lick granuloma on front foot. I also had to tape Velcro because my dog could pull it apart or tear off! But is working well!

We had been fighting a lick granuloma on our dogs lower back leg for months. We would get it cleared up , stop wrapping it and he would start licking it again. This product is absolutely awesome! Very easy to apply, well made and comfortable for him. He didn’t bother it. The wound has healed completely. We left it on a little longer after it healed because it was so comfortable to help break the licking habit. He no longer wears it and has not gone back to licking his leg! Excellent product, well made, very easy to apply and clean. Comfortable fit and he doesn’t mind wearing it. Highly recommend!

My dog had a 3x5cm tumor removed from her lower leg but the wound could not be stitched and had to heal by "2nd intention" aka: open wound. For almost 2 weeks we had to cone her 24/7 which was a miserable experience for both her and us. Finally I found this product. I call it my "velcro cast". After bandaging the wound normally, I would wrap this around the lower leg and No More Cone! It not only stayed in place but even if she licked it (not very often), I never had to worry about the moisture penetrating to the bandage underneath. Other than she limps a little from the bulkiness of it, it's so much more comfortable than wearing that cone and the leg is well on the way to mending in another month or so. Really this worked just liked I hoped and it saved all of our sanities!

Slips off easily and the fit isn’t great

Ideal for what I needed; just to cover her wrist so she doesn't lick it (she made herself a granuloma from licking due to arthritis pain). It is not a brace, there's no support in it. It's more of a compress sleeve so may help with discomfort as well.

We purchased this product to product a lick granuloma on our dog’s front leg. It worked amazingly well and now he leg is healed. It healed much quicker with this as she couldn’t get it off to lick her leg (unlike the bandage wraps we previously had that she had a way of getting off). I don’t know how good it is for joint support but we were happy with the protection coverage.

Great quality, purchased to help a medium/large breed dog with lick granulomas on her front legs. We are using product in place of a cone. Thick enough to act as a bandage. Has been on for 4 hours and has not slipped down her leg. Found it fit slightly smaller then I thought based on measurements but I purchased larger so it worked out perfectly. Considering purchasing a second as a spare or if required for her other leg.

Purchased to cover an area on dogs front leg that he constantly licks and has created a sore.After 2 nights he hasn't managed to pull it off. It’s a decent price, as long as he doesn’t figure out how to remove it.The directions for sizing are a bit hard to figure out though.
