The pre-stain is pretty enough I almost want to leave it on! The lip product came with basic plastic tweezers to help peel off the top layer, but I promptly lost them as soon as I unboxed everything. If it's not applied thick, it can be difficult to peel off at the edges. But so far it tends to peel off in one piece (per lip that is). The color left behind is just color. I've used a lot of the Korean lip stains which deposit saturated color in a very watery solution. This is the opposite of that. The color is on the more natural side but there's zero moisture. I hate mattifying lipsticks but I don't mind this stain. It just needs a layer of chapstick or lip balm after the peel.

I wasn't super impressed with this. The stain product didn't really peel off, so I had to wipe it off, which wiped off a lot of the stain effect. I'm not sure how you are supposed to get a lip liner look with this applicator brush, either. It's actually the same brush that is in a different full-lip lip stain I have. So I just did a full lip with this one. The stain that stayed on did last for a while, but it wasn't the overall experience I was hoping for.

I will start by saying this is the first peel off lip color I have used and it was a fail. Maybe it was user error, but since the instructions on the box were covered with not one, not two but THREE sticker labels, I was unable to read the full instructions on the box and they are not printed on the product themselves. I came to the product page to see if I could find the instructions here, which I did, but they differed from the little bit that I could read on the product box. The box had one amount of time to wait listed while the product page here had a complete different time frame and it was not by a couple of seconds either. Once I put the product on my lips, I waited the longer amount of time then tried to peel with the small plastic tweezers provided loosely in the product bag, instead of getting the lip stain with the tweezers, I continued to get my lip skin and was unable to successfully peel the lip stain itself. Again, maybe this is user error, but if you are like me and a newbie to this type of product, you may want to choose a different option than this one. I more than likely wont attempt to use this product again in fear of the pain of pinching my lip skin over and over again.

Ok, so I've tried a few brands of these peel off lip stains and have to say this is the best one yet. I have this in the chocolate color, and it's a beautiful warm, neutral color. Finally, the stock photos are actually accurate :). It applies easily, which can be a rarity in the world of peel off lip stains. It is easy to peel off too and leaves a pretty even stain that is lasting. There was still come color remaining at the end of the day. It does have a bad flavor and the stain on the inner part of my lips ended up in my mouth, so I would suggest maybe rinsing your mouth out afterwards just in case. The jury is still out if I prefer to just throw on lip color rather than deal with the time it takes to apply and peel in general.
