Difficult, but in the best ways. Planning on buying others.
Some connections just don't fit together tightly, and some snap in and feel really solid. It's hard to find a great balance, because you want articulation, and less rigidity.*Note* Build this very close to where you want to display it. The looseness makes it difficult to transport. (If you are planning on taking it 'into the office', you can build most of the way, but will need to assemble some on-site.)I really enjoyed that the pieces came in different bags sorted by steps. Unfortunately there seemed to be extra pieces that weren't used in some bags, and steps didn't have a great piece count. (If the extras were bagged separately inside that step's bag, or if an expected piece layout were in the directions for each step, this would have helped immensely, overall the picture-based steps were pretty good.Innovative design, that I really like, and am patiently waiting so my partner and I can finish the assembly at my work desk.

Beautiful but does not hold. Find something else
It’s a complicated but beautiful build, except the parts don’t connect tightly enough to stay together. So you finish the fragile base just to have to attach the unicorn to it later and have everything break off… while everything simultaneously breaks off the unicorn. And don’t even get me started on the tubes. They do not work and cause every piece to snap apart. So with two people holding this thing together, we still can’t get it stable and attached. It’s going to take supergluing many of the sensitive pieces together and even then, the supports for the unicorn to stand aren’t stable and we aren’t sure it will hold.Such a bummer after many hours of putting it together.

Looks amazing
Once you can figure out how to get it together without pieces popping off, it looks amazing. I recommend putting the legs together and placing them on the base before connecting the body. On the base some of the pieces were too crowded and kept popping off, so I left them loose. It was worth the money. It was tricky to assemble, but worth the struggle. You can easily move it if you place a hand under its belly with one hand while the other holds the base. I'm so happy I purchased it.

Lego unicorn
I wanna give my opinion on the unicorn, and you can feel free to leave a review on AmazonIn all honesty, the build sucks. The tubes use for wires are not flexible enough and pull pieces off, I had to glue it to keep it from falling apart. But the worst part is that it can't even hold its own weight, so I can't even sit it up on the stand, it just collapses And every time I tried to fix something, another thing broke Which sucks, because I had high hopes for it, I was excited

Beautiful brick unicorn - Extremely challenging build!
Item: JMBricklayer Unicorn Building Sets for Adults with Lights 70008, Myth Art Creator Animals Display Ideas, Magical Rainbow Unicorn Home Decor, Building Toys Christmas Birthday Gifts for 14+(1492 PCS)This is a very detailed and beautiful brick model of a unicorn. It’s gorgeous! It’s also very challenging to build and assemble, and to keep together once it is complete. Do not expect to be able to easily move this once finished! The linkage of parts is fragile at best. This is best to build and put on a shelf to show off how lovely it is.The instruction book is 92 pages of detailed pictures (394 steps!). They are easy to understand, but tricky to do. The light kit is nice, and it includes a USB plug.

Nice detailed set- good quality bricks and lights look good, love the biomechanical style
I picked this set up because I had picked up a similar, larger set (though that one didn’t have lights like this one does) to give to one of my nieces and knew that another niece would also really like it. Though there were some challenges with the final assembly, this was overall a very good set and I expect she’ll enjoy both building and displaying it a lot. I personally really like the bio-mechanical aspect of the set.First off, it’s always nice to see that they included a brick separator- it’s surprising how many companies don’t include them with larger sets. It was also nice to find that there weren’t a whole bunch of small bags floating around in the box that I had to sort through to find all of the ones of a certain step- with the exception of one of the steps (3) all of the parts were contained in a single large bag (with some parts loose in the large bag and smaller ones in smaller bags inside the large one). The steps were broken up nicely so you don’t have to deal with too many parts at once, making it a lot easier to do a quick initial sort of the parts when you open the bags to cut down on time hunting for small parts later. The instructions themselves are pretty good, with dimensions for parts and 1:1 pictures for rods, axles, etc. as well as noting where 1x1 round plates with holes should be used. I do wish that they did the same when plates with Technic holes were used vs. normal plates as you have to look closely at the pictures to tell the difference. When reviewing any of the 3rd-party (i.e., non-LEGO) sets, it’s always a bit of a toss-up whether the part quality is going to be an issue or not- this was thankfully a case where it very much was NOT an issue. Though I’m not sure if I’d quite put the part quality of the JMB set on the same level as a FunWhole set, it was very, very good and there were only a few things where I could tell that I wasn’t working with actual LEGO bricks- but the quality was definitely at the top of the spectrum that I’ve encountered.I like that the set includes the lights inherently (another point where JMB end up on about the same level as FW) It is however kind of a pity it doesn’t include a battery pack to power the USB lights and just has the USB plug, as most lighting kits come with a battery pack so you have the option of powering it away from an outlet. But, it’s not a huge deal- most people either have a USB battery pack or will have the set close enough to an outlet to just use a wall brick. It’s not like the set is one that you’re going to be ‘playing’ with- at least not unless you really like picking up pieces off the floor and putting things back together…. Which leads into my one slight gripe about the set.It was definitely a challenge to connect the Unicorn to the base- you’re likely going to knock off a lot of the scenery on the base trying to get the hooves into the connections. And the connections aren’t as solid as would be ideal- I think it would have been smart to have both used longer axles for the connection and to have put a 2xSomething plate with Technic holes in it over the 2x2 round plates that grip the axles as the 2x2’s kept pulling off of the base. But, I did eventually get it to work- and I have to say that the other similar-style set I’ve built had pretty much the exact same problems, so I don’t think there’s much way around it. It is however somewhat unstable, so you probably won’t want to have it sitting someplace where it can get bumped or that is unstable.Overall, this is a really good set. It’s not one I would recommend for younger builders without some assistance as it can get pretty complex- and honestly I think having 2 people would probably make joining the unicorn with the base a lot easier.

Save your money and patience
Absolute junk! I was super excited for this build.. but the parts don’t hold like they should, and then when I finally was able to get it on the platform it’s collapsed not worth the money, and even with the patience of gold you definitely will lose your mind!!!
