Look Inside Cars

I had this book for my now 12 year old when she was very young and she read it so many times I had to tape flaps back on. I purchased again for my 6 month old. It’s got a different title than what my older daughter knew it as and it’s smaller but exactly the same inside (used to be Flip Flap Cars). I’m very excited for my youngest to grow into this as we are a car loving family so this has education & fun built on every page.

Seeing how her grandson was enjoying this book, my friend sent a copy to my grandson of the same age. Henry loves learning how cars work and how they are made. The only problem is that he wants to know even more, and is a bit frustrated that the book doesn't show every detail of the factory line, for example. We knew Henry could read a few words. One day, lifting the tabs, he started reading entire sentences, and now there's no stopping him. Apparently, the sentences under those tabs are both appealing and non-threatening in their contained way. Thanks, Usborne, for a great book! Henry and his older sister also have the one on science projects. -- Grateful Grandma

If you have a car lover, you need this book! Lots of flaps and great facts. I love that each page is something different about cars - how a car works, how it's built, race track, old time, etc.

Good book for kids to explore!

Very good idea, excellent illustration but the quality of the pop up was not of the same stadarts. Some parts did not "pop" and some got easily torn. It was a shame because the little one loved it!*** Refund was submitted ***

Bought this for a two year old who was totally engrossed in it and loved lifting the flaps. Not sure how long it will last due to the delicate flaps but was certainly a hit for a car mad youngster.

My Grandson loves this book and never tires of. You can read it over and over again and discover new bits that become fascinating to him. Plenty of robust flaps to look under and very robust.

In other Amazon reviews I've expressed my high regard for the 'Look Inside' series, and 'Look Inside Cars' is equally worthy of praise. The book contains not only plenty of flaps to lift but also a lot of information about how cars are made, how they work, motor sports, and so on, all at just the right level for my five-year-old son to enjoy. This book achieves the ideal balance of being educational yet fun.

My 20 month old son loves this book! I was going to keep it for when he was older thinking it was more appropriate for maybe a 3 year old, but he wanted to see it and now its all he wants to read! Good quality sturdy book with load of lift up flaps, and flaps within flaps - he still hasn't found all the flaps yet. and really educational with lots to talk about with them. I'm buying another one for my nephew.
