Diet Coke - 24 x 200ml

Onward with reviewing the top 100 products that I use pretty much every day. I must confess that I have been a diet cokoholic for many years now. Yes, I'm sure there are probably far better liquids to put into my body such as water, herbal tea - whatever. In fact, I did go off diet coke awhile back and found that I could substitute a healthy brand of tea without having withdrawals.However, I'm back to drinking diet coke and find that it gives a bounce to my soul. Is this bounce due to caffeine or simple comfort in what has become one of the many routines of my life? I'm not sure. I don't drink anything alcoholic - ever. Actually, I've never had a drop of alcohol in my life and there are those who would perhaps tell me that a glass of wine or beer would be a healthier choice. Maybe they're right, since diet coke does have aspartame which is supposedly a deadly type of poison to one's system - at least that's what detractors state.My children constantly make snide comments to me about my choice of drink even as they sip their designer coffee drinks from that "famous" place we're all familiar with and I've been known to try that place on occasion, but - I. Still. Like. My. Diet. Coke.Although I have been known to drink diet coke from various types and sizes of container ranging from the 2 liter bottles to cans, these little 12 oz. bottles are the cat's pajamas. Great size for a little pick me up. I keep them very cold - often placing them in the freezer for 30 minutes or so and drink them straight from the bottle.For the record - I'm not stating diet coke is a healthy drink. I'm just saying, I drink it and enjoy it. I have a "nearly consumed" bottle sitting on my desk even as I type this review and I'm enjoying it very much.
