Rain Water Deflector in Polished Aluminium with End Caps, 914mm/36", Silver

We bought one of these deflectors for our front door where it looks very smart and then I had the idea of putting one at the back of our stainless steel sink. The sink is very close to the tiles under the window with a thin strip of work surface between, which was a constant worry to keep dry and avoid it swelling with the wet. The deflector looks really smart and matches our stainless steel swan neck tap unit. My husband cemented the deflector in well by putting sink sealant underneath and it works perfectly.

I feared this would be thin material or inferior finish at the price, but it is top quality and the shame on the chrome is 10/10

I had this cut to length and fitted in a few minutes using basic hand tools (hacksaw, drill, screwdriver) and it works well even in recent extreme weather. The fitted length is critical and should butt up tight to the door frame when the door is closed to be fully effective.

Had to cut down to size and holes didn't match the existing brass weather strip already on my door and was in fact a different fit altogether. I used no nails and stuck it directly on top and it looks great.

Does exactly what I needed it to do.

Very effective on our hardwood french doors - the rain no longer sits underneath, causing swelling. The only negative is that in heavy rain, you can hear the raindrops 'pinging' on the metal from inside the house.
