De'Longhi Descaler for Coffee Machines and Espresso Machines

Depending on how you set your coffee machine (soft or hard water) will depend on how long this product will last you, but I can give you insight into how often I have to descale. I live in a hard water area, and it is quite bad. We are talking orangey/white limescale left on taps or sinks if not cleaned.I set the machine to hard water, and typically use this machine 5-6 times a week. I've owned this machine for 2 years now and I've cleaned it through twice. This bottle will give you 5 cleans in total, so by my usage, it will last approximately 4 years, maybe 5 if I'm lucky.You can work out for yourself based on your own usage but I've narrowed it down to around 250 espressos before it needs a clean, keeping in mind I live in a hard water area, it could be more for soft water areas (5 uses a week, 52 weeks in a year = 250 espressos).The bottle has markings to make correct usage easy to work out, and the entire process (a bit messy so make space) takes around 30 mins.Not the cheapest price upfront but a good price for how long it will last you it does exactly what you need it to do – and once finished allows you to drink espresso straight away.

Great price for a genuine product to maintain my DeLonghi bean to cup coffee machine.

Since getting my De'Longhi coffee machine I've been using the single use descaler packs they sell.This however is a much better long-term solution that'll last me a few years.
