Really fast charging, but only delivers 7551mAh (75.1%) of its rated capacity
Often when you buy a power bank, what you see is not what you get. There is a shady grey market of power banks on eBay and Amazon that claim to have massive capacities but in reality have a fraction of what they claim. In my power bank reviews, I aim to determine who are being truthful and who are being misleading.► Battery efficiency Tests ◄For those that do not know, power banks use a 3.7-volt battery whereas USB charging is at 5 volts. This means that energy inside the power bank is converted from 3.7 volts to 5 volts. In this process, some energy is lost and power banks will never deliver 100% of what is advertised. In this review, I will find what you actually get...Firstly I need to find the capacity in Watt Hours. Then I will charge up the power bank and discharge it completely, measuring how many Watt Hours are transferred during this process. Using these values I will find how efficient the power bank is at delivering its advertised capacity. This Power Bank is advertised at 10050mAh (37.185Wh).I ran two tests, I charged the power bank up completely and then ran it down by adding a constant 1.75 Amp load, for those that don't understand this is similar to charging a smartphone. I have two devices that allow me to measure the amount of power transferred.Test 1:The power bank transferred 5599mAh at 5V, so 27.995Wh (Watt hours) before running out of charge.Test 2:The power bank transferred 5577mAh at 5V, so 27.885Wh (Watt hours) before running out of charge. The average capacity was 5588mAh at 5V, so 27.94 Watt Hours. So, the advertised capacity was 37.185Wh, and this power bank achieved 27.94Wh. That is an efficiency of 75.1%. This is average-to-poor performance from a Power Bank. For reference, I consider anything above 90% to be exceptional, 85-89% is very good, 75-84% is average, and below 75% is very poor.To put this into something practical, this power bank should be able to charge a more recent Android smartphone up just over 2.5 times, and the iPhone 7 up almost 4 times.► Build Quality and Features ◄The power bank is entirely glossy plastic and a fingerprint magnet. I loved the way it had a 0-100 capacity percentage indicator, most power banks use 4 LEDs to show capacity in increments of 25% so this gives a lot more insight into the capacity. There is a MicroUSB charging port and 2 USB outputs, one rated for Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 and the other rated for 2A output.I loved the way the power bank could both be charged and charge phones with QuickCharge 3.0, you would be surprised at the number of power banks that can only charge devices and not the powerbank itself with QuickCharge 3.0. It meant that the power bank could charge almost twice as quickly compared to normal charging.► Overall verdict ◄This power bank has a somewhat poor efficiency of just 75.1%. I'm surprised by this because the unit uses LG batteries which are supposed to be great quality, however, I think the power losses are from the power conversion circuits as the unit got warmer than most power banks do while charging and discharging. The build quality is great for a plastic power bank - I personally prefer aluminium ones but this is definitely well built for plastic. There are two fast charging ports, and the support for QuickCharge 3.0 charging. In my view though, I would find it hard to recommend this power bank when there are others at similar prices that offer higher efficiency.I hope my review has helped you make your decision as to what power bank you want to get!

Very poor.
Initially impressed but the quick charge feature has stopped working and one of the usb ports now only charges if held precariously in a certain position. I've only had it a fortnight and it is definitely either faulty or of poor build quality.I've tried different cables, both of which work with my quick charge plug / other chargers but not with this. Reported under warranty; they're sending me a replacement so I'll update this when it arrives

Great power bank.
This power bank is professional looking with its gloss black finish. It has two output usb ports which can charge your devices simultaneously. There is a led display on the front which give you the percentage reading of the internal battery which I haven’t seen on any other power bank yet. This is the best feature of this power bank as I am forever running out of charge in the power bank without realising but now I know exactly when it needs charging and how much power it has got left. It also comes with a pull string bag to store it in when it is not being used which will stop the power bank fascia from getting scratched. This storage bag can be used whilst the power bank is in use in order to still protect the fascia. The power bank also comes with a torch light so that you can use it in the dark to either find where you are going or to help plug your cables into it where light is restricted.
