Well ordered this after doing some research on what was available out there! This one hit it out of the ball park! I bought it primarily for heating water for my noodles and instant premium coffee. Unlike nuked waster it cools a lot slower so I can actually enjoy my coffee and instant noodles without them getting cold right away. I also like green tea with lemon grass. This pot is prefect, fancy enough to just leave it on the stove, like an expensive decoration, but functional and efficient to use every day! So no stuffing it in a cupboard. I was surprised at how well it was made, real quality something you don't see much of anymore! I don't cook anything in it but water so cleaning is a breeze. Loud enough whistle so you just put it on and it let's you know it's ready, but not too loud. Has that well made feel to it can be used on even the new induction stoves, I use gas, faster cheaper cleaner to use. So if your looking for something fancy to use when friends come over or just looking for something that's going to be used daily this is definitely the ticket! No wood handles to crack or break off either just solid workmanship, and what ever they did to the bottom for all the different stoves to work with it adds to its value. Well after having this for awhile, the whistle is already going out to the point you have to be in the room to hear it, NOT GOOD, that's the main reason for it to let you know it's ready! Otherwise it's used alot in my family who like those quick noodle dishes, the three minutes then eat kind when there in a rush, or just too lazy to fix something. Still glad I bought it!

Lovely kettle but the rubber on the handle could be longer. I have small hands and it is easy to burn your hand on it. If you have big hands then you need to wear a glove to pick it up.Hence the 4* I would have loved to have given it 5
