Best work boots for heavy duty mechanics & towtruck operators
I had a pair of Carhartt boots prior to these and the carhartts only lasted 6 months. I’ve had these Timberland Pro’s for almost 3 years now. They break in fast, comfortable to walk in all day. They’re really warm in the winter, not too hot in the summer. Very good water proofing. Slip resistant is very good for oils, hydraulic fluid, fuel, aircraft de-ice fluid. There are only 2 complaints I have; the oem laces are complete trash and so are the oem insoles. The soles lasted me only 8 months and laces tore in like 6 months. Buy better insoles and Kevlar laces. I’ve dropped parts & tools on my foot and didn’t feel a thing. These are also really good boots for welding and using cutting torches. 10/10 must have boot for mechanics.UPDATE 7/20/24: the boots are STILL GOOD AFTER 4 YEARS of daily abuse in all climates and conditions. These are the only work boots I will buy the rest of my life.UPDATE 11/23/24: The boots lost their waterproofing. Ordered a new pair. I will forever only buy these Timberland Boondock boots!!

Great boots, they look like clown boots on me ...
Great boots, they look like clown boots on me though. 10 1/2 men's US size, the inner fit is just about right, but without the right pants, they look somewhat clownish, and seem oversized from the outside, but they fit well on the inside. That aside, they look awesome when paired with the right pants, and feel even better. My feet do not hurt after a hard day's work, and that is really all I can ask for. They offer good protection when doing demolition and general construction work, great waterproofing, and they are not particularly heavy, although I opted for the non insulated version since I'd be using them in the summer. I spray them off at work when doing drywall finishing, top and bottom with a hose while I'm wearing them, and while I try to avoid the laces, sometimes the water will hit them, and I have yet to feel any water seep through, dry feet all day long. They are not cheap, but you generally get what you pay for, and that is certainly the case here, at least for me. I plan to buy another pair once I burn my way through the ones I have now, I wear them daily. Good tread on them as well, hasn't worn much in several months now.

Day late but still love them
Paid for 2 day shipping and got it on the 3rd day I don’t really care just saying love the boots I’m hard on my work boots I work in the foundry as a grinder so I’m constantly stepping on metal sand oil a bunch of things and the boots hold up I would also recommend the gravel pit in Timberland Pro 10 inch puncture resistant very comfortable boot

Most comfortable and reliable work boots ever
These are my third pair of Timberland Pro work boots in four years. Above all the features listed, the most important one for me is comfort. If you are looking for tough work boots that cradle your feet like pillows, buy these shoes now!The only complaint I can make is that Timberland in general makes their shoes slightly oversized and unless you have Shrek-like feet, they won't fill in completely.FYI, I wear these at least 50 hours a week and sometimes spend hours at work standing on a ladder, which as some of you will know is the true test of just how comfortable your boots really are! I am a professional electrician and most of the day I am on my feet, in all kinds of terrain and in all kinds of weather.
