Used this for the first time last night, and it worked like a charm. I heated it for 90 seconds, rotating every 30 seconds as directed, and it heated up evenly and held the heat in. I put a disposable plastic shower cap on first over my deep conditioner, then I put his on over that. I left it on for 20 minutes, and it held the heat for the full time I wore it. My only caveat is that it runs small. I am a small person with a small head, and it was tight on me. I don't know if they come in sizes or not. It was really easy to use, I didn't have to mess with one of those bonnet dryers, which look like a lot of trouble. I am happy with my choice of product.

Love the idea of having something cordless and is warm just enough to do the job… heighten the effects of my conditioner for my hair. THANKYOU so much!

I’m using this heat cap for the first time. I took the reviews of others in mind. My hair is shoulder length and I have a small head so this worked well for me.I have a standard over the stove microwave. 90 seconds warming the cap got quite warm. In the future, I would start heating at 60 seconds and then add at 10 second increments until I find the right setting for my hair and microwave.In addition I will purchased a set of foil caps that I’m wearing underneath this cap. I don’t know if that made a difference. However, I would still err on the side of caution and start off with 60 seconds.

Good bang for your buck, affordable, reasonably priced, very high quality material, so it'll last, easy to use, just put in microwave for 90 seconds and place on head to heat up the deep conditioner cream, will allow product to better absorb into hair strands and give smoother soft hair. This cap will assist with that. Very pleasant experience

This item was very hard but it also did not fit my head correctly. An option would be for them to provide gloves for you when you take it out of the microwave so that you don't burn your hands I actually put an additional cap on but it still was very hot in the center of the cap.

My hair used to be very dry. Since, I started using this heat cap it looks very healthy and moisturized. This heat cap maintains moisture for long.

This gel cap is easy to use for deep conditioning my hair. My old one had a cord, but because this cap heats in the microwave, I am not tethered. I heat this cap for 30 seconds, turn it over and heat for another 30 seconds. Perfect. I sent back a cap made with beads that didn't seem to evenly distribute the heat. This gel cap is much, much better at holding and evenly warming for about 20 minutes. Durable, large on my medium-sized head, and seems like it will last a long time.

Like all the other reviewers or the majority of the reviewers. I do like this, the big thing is for me, I am very fortunate, in this case I don't have a lot of hair. I used to and I miss it, but if my hair was as big and bulky as it was in the past I probably have a hard time fitting my hair in this cap. The top can be a little top heavy and hot heavy so once you learn how to adjust it so that it's not uncomfortable it works great. You can keep it on for as long as you need to to do your deep conditioning or whatever process you were doing with your hair. Overall I give it four stars for functionality I took away the one star for the size of the cap and the lack of room.
