This nifty device has been most helpful, especially during the winter months, when determining how often I need to check the watering requirements of my indoor plants. It is very easy to read and to use. It is sturdy for a small device and has definitely been a most valuable purchase.

THE DISPLAY HAS HUGE NUMBERS!Need I tell you how easy is it to read it from across the room? Because if you never struggled with small digits you won't appreciate it but if you had I need not to spell it. Yes, this puppy is amazing. Inch tall or so digits tells you what you need to know without beating about the bushes.THE TOUCH SCREENYes, I don't know how many devices of this size have touch screen but even if they do, they lack other features as I must have spent few days searching for a perfect device and this is it!I love how you can touch the screen to change it from F to C and back as you please andthe light comes on if you need making the screen gorgeous blue like ocean or the early evening sky..LIGHT ON /OF TOUCH .. gorgeous blue LED screen !Yes, all you need is one touch and you can easily find it as it is in the middle of the bottom of the screenand no guess work here. Touch i and the gorgeous blue light as in picture comes up. I really lovethe fact that they did not lie in the product picture. Do you know how many times we allsee product promising nice LED light to the screen and then it comes and it is phew.. meh..NO, this baby is really what it looks in the picture. Lights come up for few moments for you tosee better and then it auto turns off.EASY MOUNT NO tools with a little extra effort on your side.They provide you with mounting but I found easy workaround to put it on any wallwithout hurting the paint or need for tools.I bought double sided clear tape.. while ANY double sided tape will do and I have no benefit ofsharing this I still do because I just love this tape for little jobs when I need to stick a pictureto the wall. You can move it about and no trace. I got this hygrometer when I was having mold problems with my window air conditioners . The humidity here was sometimes 100% in the summer. So this could tell me what the humidity was at all times ,I could turn on the dehumidifier to have the relative humidity which is 30 to 60% . I put one in my kitchen. I put one in my bedroom and I also bought some small ones that I liked but not as much as I like this bigger one because this big one is easier to read and I like the light bulb at the bottom of the screen, you press it and it lights up blue it also tells you the temperature of the room I noticed if you have the right comfort level and humidity level, you can sleep so much better I wish I would’ve bought this years ago . I watch it all the time even in the winter and if it gets too dry in the winter, you could use a humidifier .I would highly recommend this hygrometer . Everyone should have one in their house. You can put it on the wall or you can use the magnet and put it on your refrigerator. I put mine on the wall. Very easy to install .I’m not sure what the battery life is on it but I’ve had it for months and never had to change the battery I think it is very accurate cause I’ve seen the same readings on my dehumidifier .

Attractive, functional, smart buy. Very happy with my purchase. Clean, stylish without complicated workings. Appreciate that the screen remains dark until you press a backlight button right on the front. Also, like being able to stand it up like a picture and not having to poke another hole in my wall. Granted, the hole would be small but this way I can move it from place to place as needed. Purchased two units -- placing one in my Living room and on in my Family room. However, next time perhaps rechargeable style would be more ecological and economical.

OUTSTANDING! I have a dog with dust mite allergy and I need to keep track of the temperature and humidity in my apartment. This OUTSTANDING hygrometer does just that. I placed the two batteries in the unit that are included and the magic happened. I used the powerful magnets on the back of the hygrometer and attached it to the file cabinet. I can now easily check the temperature and humidity and use the air conditioner to control both. Easy to read, I can also view the high and low temperature and humidity over the past 24-hours. Í guess a dehumidifier is in the future for the winter.

Right away it's a huge help! My humidity is so low I need a humidifier to sleep at night without the respiratory problems I've been having.

Screen is easy to read even from 10 ft. away. Seems accurate when placed next to humidifier thats set to specific levels. Have yet to change batteries and expect it will operate a long time before it requires new batteries. I would purchase it again.
