Moto X4 Case, CASEVASN [Shockproof] Anti-Scratches Flexible TPU Gel Slim Fit Soft Skin Silicone Protective Case Cover For Motorola Moto X4 (Clear)

Ordered this case before my Moto X4 arrived, and I figured it would be a good temporary case until other, better cases were released. Once my X4 arrived and I installed this case, I was surprised how nice this case is, perfect fit on the X4 and with the reinforced corners and grippy feel, I believe this is a case that I will be perfectly happy using from now on. My X4 is the sterling blue, which is a beautiful finish and this case is crystal clear and shows the colors very well. I plan to order another one that I will be able to use if this one begins to yellow, which seems to be a problem with all clear cases after a year or so.

Unlike all other clear cases in this class, this has air-cushioned bumpers on the corners with enough rigidity to reduce bouncing.It is free of bubbles and other blemishes; very nice quality.This will provide great protection against scratching and wear. As for impact dispersion, without the likes of this case, your phone doesn't have any at all. I'm not inferring "better than nothing" here, but you get the idea.Anyone expecting Otterbox-like armament needs to look elsewhere and spend more money.Remember, when a drop occurs, your foot is your friend!Clear TPU has a reputation to yellow over time which can be delayed by a good cleaning of the new cover with a detergent hand soap and water. If the yellowing does happen, the solution is easy. At this price point, just buy another one...

I feel a little bad only doing 4 stars instead of 5, but this product is listed as Silicone and TPU. It can't be both. Please fix that. I expected it was TPU and it is.I don't like phone cases, but my first Moto x4 is broken so many ways from being dropped. It is a slippery device. At first I thought that was cool, but so many fumbles.The case is minimal like I wanted. Clear and thin. The phone only feels a little bigger. The extra padding on the corners is nice. That's where I had the most damage on my first x4. It is not clear on the pictures, but there is a good sized ridge around the back camera glass. That was the first thing to break last phone and I couldn't find a replacement as good as the OEM glass. Motorola doesn't sell that part.My one surprise with this case is the long edges are textured. Hard to see, so noticed it first by feel. I think there are going to be a lot less fumbles now and even then little damage.

This solves the issue of the glassy X4 being very very very slippery for me. Installs in a fraction of a second. Makes one handed operation possible again, buttons feel even better, camera protected, prevents slipping and falling from any surface with the slightest incline. Certainly not an OtterBox and have little hope it will save the X4 in a serious fall, but still a great improvement for little money. Planning on buying a few more to have spares on hand in case it hardens or cracks or fades with time.

Love this case! It feels good in the hand, slides in and out of my pocket easily, and quite handily performs its primary purpose of protecting my phone from drops, which I have done quite often with no damage. The corners are built up with extra material to form a nice bumper, which is exactly what we need since on the corner is always where a dropped phone will land. The fact that the clear color shows off the awesome Sterling Blue of my X4 is a definite bonus. The case is nearly invisible. You'll need to pull it off every few weeks to clear out the gunk that eventually collects around the edges, but that is easily done in seconds. I also installed a screen protector and I am quite confident my phone will be in mint condition if and when I choose to sell it.
