Works As Expected
The media could not be loaded. Performs as expected form a hard disk,[Test Results and hardkdisk photos in Images]Physical: It's light weight and small size (smaller than palm)The case is of okayish quality, if you press on it, it gets flexed maybe they should have made it a bit strongerthe cable quality is goodIt comes in a single box with HDD and cable no additional case/cover includedStorage Capacity: 931GB (10,00,17,05,86,112 bytes as reported by File Explorer Windows) which is exptected from a 1TB driveSince many people were complaining its not 1000 GB or 1024GB, windows will show different capacity then what a manufacturer advertise, you can look up on google on how that worksIn short the 931GB is what you'll get from a 1TB drive(any drive not just this one)Performance: As expected in a HDDSpeed is as expected for a HDDCrystal Disk Mark testThe first speed test i ran the write speed was slow but reconnecting it again it was goodSpeed tests are in images, for comparision i included benchmark of my internal drive as well{E drive: Seagate , D drive : My internal drive} both of 1TBWhen the drive is busy writing reponse time jumps upto 15 secondsThey are both similar in terms of speed so no complaints thereTest 1copying ~3.5gb files of different sizes from 100KB to 200MBTook around 2 minute, avg speed of 25MB/s (write), there was some fluctuations when transfering smaller filesTest 2copying ~200GB folder with .mp4 files (all files over 500MB)Avg speed 100MB/s (write), the speed stayed pretty much the sameNote: Sometimes it gives only 26MB/s write speed and other times over 100MB/s write speeds and i cant figure out why it does that, all my ports in the laptop are USB 3.1 gen1 so idk why the speed difference is there maybe some connection issueConnector : Its a USB A to USB micro B superspeed connector, the cable length is ~40cm which is okay and cable and pin quality is goodTemperature : after a few tests the case became warm to touch or 45C as reported by softwareIts idle temperature is around 38C~39C at room temperatureWhen plugged in computer there is a slight vibration if you hold it(which is fine), but no significant noise when reading or writingThis is a short term test, i will update the review if anything happends regarding the driveAs of now the the purchse for me was worth it, i bought it for INR 4899 during great indian festival sale

Decent Storage with Good Warranty, But Pricey and Slow
I recently purchased this 1TB hard disk which is light weight. My main reservation is the high cost; I feel the price should be lower for what it offers. As I anticipated, the transfer speeds are quite slow, so it's not ideal for frequent, large transfers. On the positive side, it comes with a generous warranty period, which provides some peace of mind. Crucially, I believe it's safe to store important files on it, which is the primary purpose of a hard drive. Overall, I'd say it's an okay product for bulk storage, provided you're aware of the slower speeds and higher price point.

Working good.
Working good. All my previous 2tb drives are gonr within one week of copying data and after replacement also same problems, all with USB pin on drive end and very stiff cable. This one working fine from last 6 months. Now a days drives are not reliable, 15 years back Seagate drives of 500 and 1 tb are so reliable, i still use them.Defineley u need data backup.

Spurious product by local vendor
Bad quality product, port was damaged. Could be a fake product from a local vendor of Amazon. Huge risk to a brand like Seagate. Never expected this kind of experience.

Good as expected, but be careful of a few things
Got this one for 12.5k (it might go lower, so wait for sales) for the 5TB one. The package came in not so good cushioning. Be sure to check for nearby Seagate service centres, because if you get a damaged drive, you would have to go to an authorised service centre for replacement. You'll get 4.54TiB of storage because Windows tends to show capacities in Tebibytes(TiB) not Terabytes(TB). So 5TB=4.54TiB. The speeds are fine (check CrystalDiskMark screenshot). The drive does get hot pretty quickly but it hasn't crossed 45C even under full load. Results might vary in summer though. Also, don't panic if your Seek Error and Read Error rates are increasing continuously in SMART values. It doesn't necessarily mean there are errors. Search for a Seagate error calculator online and put the raw values in there. That'll tell you if there are errors or not.As for the physical build quality, it's average. There is some flex in the middle of the drive and the plastic it's made of doesn't seem much better either. There's a small LED light that blinks if the drive is in use. I wish it had more features. The light in my 6 year old Toshiba drive would change colour if the drive is connected in USB2 mode.
