Shaved my giant goldendoodle bald!
My girl got into some nasty burrs and matted her entire self - like Fort Knox. Her long blond hair turned from gorgeous curls to a solid mass with tons of sticky burs all in her. Then she got wet - and she locked up.Cutting her hair costs me 175 minimum because she is a big girl. She takes the groomer 3-4 hours, and she costs me a lot. The scheduling, the time, the money - it's all a lot. I was very nervous to try to cut her hair, especially because I would have to shave her down to the skin (the professional groomers also said so).So I am like, this dog acts like I am ending her life when I try to clip her nails, so grooming her myself is going to be a huge mistake. But I decided to try anyway. I got this trimmer after reading a ton of reviews. Many of the reviews said it doesn't work well on thick doggy hair or doodle hair, but many of the other reviews said it works great. But all the other clippers say the same thing. I decided to try this one due to the low price point - as a starter shaver.Well, I did an ok job. 3 little nicks cause in some spots I tried against the grain - and she is bald. Not only that but the sound didn't scare her, she didn't act like I was ending her life and she was so easy to redirect her little bits of anxiety with just a small treat here and there. I had to recharge a few times - the clippers were still working but they seemed to slow a few times. Charging them up gave her a break. So over the span of 3 hours she is balder than the day she was born. All the burs are gone - she has a fresh blank canvas to grow back in.PROS: Low noise, cuts her hair (thick wavy golden doodle, x-large breed), easy to use, nice attachments, ok battery life (probably way better with a smaller and less thick haired dog), sliced right through mats easily. Easy to clean.CONS: Wish it came with something better for the paws. The width of this blade is just a little much and I'm definitely afraid I will cut her and she will never trust the clipper again in my hands.NOTES: You need to oil this! every 1/2 hour you spend on really intensive clipping, stop, clean the hair off and put 2-3 drops of oil. Clipper/razor oil is really cheap - don't be afraid to use it! Charge it more often than it says. It works great - but the clippers start to sound sad, plug it in for a bit.

Great clippers
🐶 Game changer for grooming my Sheepadoodle!I absolutely love these cordless dog clippers! They’re quiet, powerful, and super easy to use—even on my fluffy Sheepadoodle’s thick coat. The battery life is great, and the cordless design makes grooming so much easier without dealing with tangled cords. My pup stayed calm the whole time, and the results looked professional. Total win—highly recommend for doodle parents!

Required a second purchase after only a year or so, but it works well and is affordable
This is my second time purchasing this grooming kit. My first kit died after a year and half, maybe two years max of use. The razor would run, but ceased to trim my dog's fur. I subsequently tossed it pretty quickly out of fear that it would hurt her. I was bummed to only get a couple summers of use out of it, but still purchased a second time because of A) the price is hard to beat, and B) it is actually a pretty good kit. I appreciate that it comes with several sizes of guards, a comb, scissors, and razor maintenance tools. My dog has epilepsy, and she found the groomer to be too traumatic an experience, but she is a Great Pyrenees mix who simply requires short fur in the summers to provide comfort. This razor is very quiet, and she is very tolerant of it, even though she is quite an anxious girl when it comes to noise. I would definitely recommend it to any dog owners with nervous dogs.In sum, perhaps my first razor's battery life was an outlier, I can't say, but regardless it is very affordable and works well overall, and does not scare my girl.

Best! You should do it
Amazing! Took some time for me to get the hang of it, but I decided to groom our small dog myself. Her hair grows very fast and she’s very good and will sit will I groom her. So it’s a win win. These clippers are amazing and last a LONG time. The first time I groomed her she was super matted and needed a lot of care/time. The clippers were both able to do the job EASILY and lasted for a long time. Best money I’ve spent. I’ve groomed her a couple times since then. Gets better each time. I would only recommend if your dog will sit still for you. Otherwise seems too dangerous! Battery life:Excellent!Ease of cleaning:Easy to clean the clippersComfort:Small enough to hold in your hand for a long time

So SO worth it
I have spend so much money and ran through countless amounts of clippers until I found these. I won't lie, I actually asked chatGPT for suggestions and this was one it gave me so I decided to do some research into it. Now for the price I was still a little skeptical because I've spent double the amount on clippers that worked maybe twice and not well. Not these, these are AMAZING and I wish I'd found them way sooner. They're super quiet, don't tug at the fur at all, cut threw matts, and don't get hot at all. I found it rather quick to get the job done when typically it usually takes me about 45 minutes to do one cat and that's just their butts. Lol. Definitely one of the best grooming kits/tools I've bought!

Quiet, but not very powerful. My dog did not mind being clipped with this at all.
I like that this is cordless and that it has several guards to use. However, it is not very long on the charge. It only lasts maybe 25-30 minutes then needs a boost. Or, keep it plugged in but the reason I got this was due to being cordless. It is very quiet, my dog was non reactive while being clipped. It is ok speed but to get a good clip I found you must go slow and it works better.
