Q: do they make a barn door kit for this light

Not that I'm aware of but just use a piece of black core board and gaffers tape. Also text the manufacturer.

Hi Customer, Yes. It includes a Universal cold shoe adapter that enables mounting the light to your camera's accessory shoe via the 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the fixture. Hope that'll be helpful

Q: Can this be used with still photography? Can it be mounted on dslr ?

Although it is a video light, you can mount and use it on a dslr or mirrorless camera with still photography , obviously, it is not powerful as a proper flashlight but at the same time, the results are more predictable because you see the light in real time. One thing to consider though, together with a battery, it is not too small compared to a flash.

Q: anyway to control it remotely?

Not within the unit. Controls are analog pots with digital numarical values display.

So Bright!

Perfect for my needs. Small, Bright and Versatile. Works great off NP F Battery or powered by the USB (Slight dip in output when plugged into car USB).Highly Recommended.

Couldn't be happier!

This is an awesome product - I would throughly recommend it. The soft-case it comes with is very well made and looks fab, the ball-head mount is all metal and solid, and the fact you can run the light via the supplied USB type-C cable is great. I've just done a shoot, using this as my secondary light, with a 8800mAh NP-F battery and it lasted 6-7 hours.

You don't need batteries for this, Usb-C works!

Love this light and there are plenty of reviews about it already!I just wanna add that you will not need to buy batteries for it as some comments mentioned.A Usb-C charger will work just fine, just make sure that when you first use it you press the brightness knob down one time and then adjust the brightness to more than 10% which is the default when you first switch it on.Hope this will save someone some money,. Once I realized that I did not need them, I had to send the batteries back (which are a pain to send back as they cannot be sent with regular mail)

Excellent LED photo/video light

Good compact LED photo/video light. These LED array lights just get better and better. Lightweight and relatively bright.The colour temperature adjustment is very useful and seems fairly accurate. . I Especially like the fact that this charges (or operates directly) on a USB-C cable, so no need to carry around a separate power block.

Amazing little light

Cracking light.Lovely and soft and great colours.Falls off pretty quick but you can get it in really close.
